LIP PUCKERING LEMON

Makes 1 pint

 
1 cup
water
 
1 cup
sugar
 
¾ cup
fresh lemon juice
 
5 tablespoons
lemon zest
  1. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat add the water and sugar. Cook until dissolved. Raise the heat and bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 2 or 3 minutes. Let cool. Add the lemon juice and zest to the syrup. Chill
  2. Add the mixture to your ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s directions.
